The United Methodist Women of Grace UMCLA celebrated their annual day during the 10:45 a.m. morning worship celebration on March 12th. Voices of Grace Annual Gospel Concert

The Grace United Methodist Church Music Ministry presented “This Place,” the Voices of Grace Annual Gospel Concert on Sunday, October 23. The Voices of Grace (VOG) Choir was directed by Melida Smith-Byrd and Minister of Music, Diana Andrew. The band members were Anthony Bowers (piano), Malachi Harvey (drums), Robert Johnson (trombone), Jacob Smith (organ) and John Steward (guitar/bass). "Jazz With Grace" is a popular music ministry fundraiser presented each summer by Grace United Methodist Church. For this last three years, "Jazz with Grace" has featured Susan Grayson Warren, a native Angeleno and jazz vocalist extraordinaire. Susan has had the privilege of working with many jazz greats including Winton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, Kenny Burrell, Barbara Morrison and Gerald Wilson.  Her mesmerizing voice has been heard nationally and internationally in many great venues and we are privileged and honored

Vacation Bible School at Grace UMCLA

Vacation Bible School at Grace UMCLA Vacation Bible School is a week-long Bible Study program for all ages. Traditionally, the program begins with an opening song, prayer and  light supper followed by classroom instruction. Classes for children and youth include Bible stories, games and activities. Classes for adults and seniors vary from arts and crafts to Bible Study. This year's theme was "I've Got Talent."  Adults explored how to combine their faith in their work outside of the church setting.
